All of our materials are high quality, full color, and ready
to use.  The cultural materials are handmade in their
respective countries.

All the materials are based on two fundamental principles:

    • Repetition aids memory.
    • Children learn from        concrete to abstract.

The five categories of materials are Matching, Card-Placement, Three-Part Card, Sentence, and Culture.

Matching Works:
Matching is used with children who are at a beginner level.

These works engage three senses: hearing, sight, and touch.  As the children hear a word, they see and touch the concrete object.  When the children hear the word a second time, they see a picture of the object. When the
children hear the word a third time, they connect the
picture to the object.

Card-Placement Works:
Card-Placement can be used
with children at different levels.
The children examine a diagram
or picture and determine what is missing.  A beginner will fill in
the missing piece with a control
card, and a child ready for a
greater challenge will fill in the missing piece with a picture and word card.

Three-Part Card Works:
Three-Part Cards are used with children who have mastered the matching work.  These works enhance reading and speaking skills by connecting written words to pictures.

Sentence Works:
The Sentence Works are used with children who have mastered
Three-Part Cards.  These works enhance listening, speaking, and reading skills by moving isolated
words into complete sentences.

Cultural Materials:

The Cultural Materials include
authentic instruments and clothing
from 5 Spanish speaking countries: Peru, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Spain, and Puerto Rico.
